Effective 31 July 2026. Last updated 31 July 2026.

Karaya Group is a personal-capacity, independent advisory practice. This notice explains the limited personal data the site handles, why, and the choices you have. It describes the practices of the current site truthfully rather than claiming any certification.

Data collected

When you use the brief form, the site collects the name, email address, and message you submit. As with any hosted site, the server keeps standard technical logs, such as request metadata, for reliability and security. The site does not ask for special categories of data, and you are asked not to include confidential detail in a first message.

Purpose and lawful basis where applicable

Your brief-form details are used only to reply to your inquiry and to discuss a potential engagement. Where a lawful basis framework applies to you, the basis is your request to be contacted and the legitimate interest in responding to it. The site does not use your details for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to your inquiry.

Processors

A small set of service providers process data on the practice's behalf so the site can run and your message can reach the principal:

  • Vercel hosts the site and serves its pages.
  • Resend delivers the transactional email that carries your brief-form message to the principal.
  • Supabase stores the brief you submit, alongside a record of whether the email carrying it was delivered. It also holds the data behind Industry News.
  • Porkbun provides email forwarding for the contact address.
  • Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate, cookie-less usage. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other sites.

Each provider processes data under its own terms as part of delivering these functions.

Retention

Messages you send are kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as they remain relevant to your inquiry or a resulting engagement. A copy of your brief is held in the practice's database as well as in the mailbox, so that an inquiry is not lost if email delivery fails. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact@karaya.group, and both copies are removed.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics to understand aggregate usage. It does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If a newsletter or other data feature is enabled in the future, this notice will be updated before that feature begins collecting data, and any new provisions will apply only from that point.

User rights and contact

You may request access to the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To make any of these requests, email contact@karaya.group and describe what you would like. The practice will respond within a reasonable time.

For any privacy question, the contact point is contact@karaya.group.
